Don’t forget your shovel if you want to go to work
October 12, 2006
I’m on a week (or two) of sick-stress-general-unhappiness-with-the-corporate-machine type leave.
Today I took delivery of 5 tonnes of topsoil + compost + sand and I’ve been one with mother nature.
MY ARMS HURT ! Dammit it’s sore work putting all that soil into a wheelbarrow and moving it into the garden.
Couple of days ago I was cutting away at some of the overgrown plants/trees/bushes (I never know what to call them).
It was very very quiet except for the birdsong. Robin, Wren, Thrush and the noisy gatecrashers (Magpies).
Better than any drug. Well. Not really. It was nice though.
(Camera phone… hence the low-res)
